Plano, Illinois September 30th, 2017
It was a warm, breezy Illinois day when Cody and Emma said I do. Tucked in the Northern Farmlands of Illinois, surrounded by family and friends, this couple said their vows. Their timely venue made for the perfect spot to accommodate their personalities and allow them to get ready without the rush of time restrictions.
The day went smoothly. Without any interruptions. Peaceful and full of emotion. The couple made the decision to have a first look in the great entrance of the home and took time to be with each other for an hour before they walked down the aisle. Tears were shed and smiles were shared.
People come and go from our lives, but it is the people you connect with that stay forever. I first met Emma in my VIP group, her supportive personality made for a friendship I sought! Our first official meeting happened 3 months prior to their wedding day and unfolded just as I had expected it to. Lots of Laughter and even more hugs!
It was like talking to a sister. It felt natural and familiar. When she spoke about Cody you could see the love and admiration in her voice regardless of the amount of time they had been together. This was them. Cody was a gentlemen, soft spoken and polite. He allowed us to adventure with our photos and remained calm, cool and collected throughout both encounters.
Their families couldn't have been any more sincere. Fun, outgoing and overall proud. I am incredibly blessed to call this group of strong individuals, friends!
